The Cyberspace Administration of China Intensifies Crackdown on AI Face-Swapping and Modified Classic Works, Strictly Restricting Illegal Content Output from Doubao, Yuanbao, Qianwen, and Wenxin Yiyan
The Central Cyberspace Administration announced the results of the second phase of the "Clean Web - Rectifying Abnormalities in AI Applications" special campaign, focusing on combating the creation and spread of false information using AI, violent and vulgar content, impersonation and infringement of minors. Over 5.61 million illegal pieces of information have been removed, over 49,000 violating accounts have been punished, and more than 2,400 violating websites and apps have been dealt with, fully curbing the abuse of AI technology.
